NORTH SMITHFIELD- Lavergne, Annette, (Sirois) 86, of North Smithfield, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Monday, December 26, 2011. She was the wife of the late Armand D. Lavergne.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Mary Jane (St. Pierre) Sirois.
Mrs. Lavergne lived most of her life in Pawtucket before moving to Cumberland in 2002 and then North Smithfield in 2008.
She is survived by two daughters, Valerie Del Padre and Celeste Hemond both of Cumberland, a brother, Robert Sirois of Pawtucket, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Anna, Ernest, Henry, George, Albert, Armand, and Eugene Sirois.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 9:30AM in the O'NEILL Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM in the Chapel of Saint Antoine's, 10 Rhodes Avenue, North Smithfield. Burial will be in RI Veteran's Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8pm in the funeral home. www.rifuneral.com
