WOONSOCKET- Roland Bergeron, 79, of Woonsocket, RI passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Landmark Medical Center with his loving family by his side.
He was the loving father of Gerard Bergeron, Normand Bergeron and his wife Theresa, Russell Bergeron and his wife Suzanne all of Woonsocket; and his cherished six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was the former husband of Marie J. (St. Germain) Bergeron of Woonsocket. He was the brother of the late Normand Bergeron.
Born in Albion, RI on May 26, 1932, he was the son of the late Arthur Donat and & Jeannette (Larence) Bergeron.
He was a lifelong resident of Woonsocket and worked as an import and export coordinator for Tupperware Company for 28 years until retiring in May of 1985. Devoted to his family, he will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Thursday, January 5th at 9:00AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at All Saints Church, Rathbun St., Woonsocket. Interment will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting hours are on Wednesday, January 4th from 6 to 9PM at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
