WARWICK- Jeffrey P. Corkins, 45, of Warwick, died Tuesday, January 3, 2012, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of John L. and Marlene A. (McDevitt) Corkins of Woonsocket.
Mr. Corkins was a graduate of Ocean Tides High School in Narragansett. He worked in real estate. As an organ donor, two people have regained their sight.
Besides his parents, Jeffrey leaves his wife, Viv M. Eisner-Corkins, whom he married May 2, 2011; two sons, Michael Gasparro of Burrillville and Jeffrey P. Corkins, Jr. of Framingham, MA; a daughter, Kayla Corkins of Woonsocket; a stepdaughter, Anya M. Hess of Warwick; two brothers, Arthur H. Saucier of No. Smithfield and Carl A. Saucier of Woonsocket; three sisters, Karlene A. Cabral of No. Smithfield, Deirdre M. Saucier of Bellingham, MA and Tracy J. Corkins-Marcoux of Woonsocket; a grandson, Ricky; four half siblings in California; many nephews, nieces and friends.
Calling hours are Tuesday, January 10, 2012 from 5 - 8 PM with a service at 8 PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 State St., #200, Providence, RI 02901.
