Jeanne D. Caron
WOONSOCKET- Jeanne D. Caron, 67, of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Landmark Medical Center with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert E. Caron. Born in Woonsocket on March 27, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rita (Richard) Lozeau. She was the loving mother of Marc R. Caron and his wife Charlene of Woonsocket, RI, Robert R. Caron and his wife Tamara of Bellevue, NE, Scott J. Caron and his wife Xiomara of Central Falls, RI, Renee C. Thibeault and her husband Kevin of Woonsocket, RI; and her cherished 11 grandchildren. She was the sister of Joseph A. Lozeau, Jr. of Cape Coral, FL, Remi V. Lozeau of Uxbridge, MA, Marc R. Lozeau of Newton, NH, Suzanne Merrill of Hopedale, MA, Helen Lambert of Blackstone, MA, Christine Lemire of Woonsocket, RI, Alicia J. Rochefort of Burrillville, RI, and the late Richard J. Lozeau and Anita Lozeau.
A resident of Woonsocket formerly of Blackstone where she was raised, and she attended St. Mary's High School in Milford, MA. Jeanne worked at Cap Stand Company in Wrentham, MA until retiring and previously worked at Mine Safety in Esmond, RI for many years until their closing, and General Electric. She was a communicant of All Saints Church. She was a member of the AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary Post #7 in Woonsocket and Post #33 in Pawtucket. She loved spending time with her cherished grandchildren. Devoted to her family, she will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Thursday, January 12th at 9:00AM from CAR TIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at All Saints Church, Rathbun St., Woonsocket, RI. Interment will follow at Precious Blood Cemetery, Woonsocket. Visiting hours are on Wednesday, January 11th from 5 to 8PM at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Memorial donations in memory of Jeanne D. Caron may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Center, 20 Prospect St., Milford, MA 01757 would be appreciated.
