UXBRIDGE, MA - Jillian L. Dalpe, 30, of Uxbridge passed away Thurs. Jan. 12, 2012 and went home to Her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was the daughter of David F. and Susan M. (Blais) Dalpe of Uxbridge.
She was born in Providence, RI on Dec. 28, 1981 and was raised in N. Smithfield, RI. She was a graduate of N. Smithfield High School with high honors and had attended Quinnipiac University in CT, Becker College in Worcester and CCRI in Lincoln.
Jillian was a waitress at various restaurants in the area including the former Cocke-n-Kettle in Uxbridge. Her greatest joy and love was time spent with her son whom she loved so much. Jillian was an excellent mother to Walker and loved doing crafts, playing outdoors and reading books to him. She loved the holidays with her family, especially Christmas. Rv'ing was a special joy with her son and family. As an accomplished saxophone player in high school band she became a lead saxophonist and was also in the Honors Band. She attended both the North Uxbridge Baptist Church, Uxbridge and Ocean State Baptist Church, Smithfield, RI
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a son, 8 year old Walker A.
Dalpe of Woonsocket, RI; two sisters Elissa L. Dalpe of Glen Burnie, MD and Ashley M. and her husband Stephen Provost of Uxbridge; her paternal grandmother Hortense Daple of N. Smithfield; 2 aunts, an uncle, several cousins, and two nephews and one niece including Price, Penn, and Sophie.
Visiting hours will be Tuesday January 17, 2012 from 4 - 8 PM in the BUMA FUNERAL HOME, 101 N. Main St., Rte. 122, Uxbridge, MA 01569.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday January 18, 2012 at 11 AM in the Ocean State Baptist Church, 600 Douglas Pike, Smithfield, RI 02917.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Walker A. Dalpe Educational Fund, c/o Savers Bank, 6 N. Main St., Uxbridge, MA 01569.
