DOUGLAS/NORTHBRIDGE- Michael A. Pavoni Jr., 38, of Quaker Lane in Northbridge, formerly of Douglas died Sat. Jan. 14 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He is survived by his parents Michael A. Sr. and Evalyn G. (Archambault) Pavoni of Douglas; a brother James a. Pavoni and his wife Stacy of Millbury; a sister Cherish L. Gould and her husband Raymond of N. Grosvenordale CT; 6 nieces Angelica, Talia, Annabella, Tessa, Antonia, and Grace; and many good friends.
Born in Woonsocket on Aug. 4, 1973 he was raised in Douglas and lived in Northbridge the past 9 years.
Michael worked as a fabricator and welder for All-Steel in Grafton. Previously he worked at Riverdale Mills 12 years. He was a graduate of Blacksone Valley Technical High School, Class of 1991 and had a natural mechanical ability. He was known for his easy going personality and loved fixing things for others. He would help anyone. He enjoyed Fantasy Football and was an avid NE Patriots fan. He enjoyed sailing, 4-wheeling and hanging with his nieces. Family was important to Mike and he will be truly missed.
His funeral Mass will be held Thurs. Jan. 19 at 10 a.m. in Good Shepherd Church, 121 Linwood St. Linwood. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Blackstone. Calling hours at Jackman Funeral Home, 7 Mechanic St. Douglas are Wed.Jan. 18 from 4 to 8 p.m. Donations in Mike's memory may be made to the Alzheimers Assn. 311 Arsenal St. Watertown, MA 02470.
