Joseph Cardello Jr.

NORTH SMITHFIELD - Joseph Cardello Jr. 76, resident of North Smithfield, died January 15, 2012 at the St. Antoine Residence.
He was the husband of the late Maria (Diadone) Cardello.
He was born on May 18, 1935 in Boston MA, a son of the late Joseph Sr. & Rose Cardello.
Joseph was an independent salesman in the clothing industry retiring in 1992, he was a resident of North Smithfield since 1972, and he was a former member of the Knights of Columbus Free Hill Council and a communicant of St. Johns Church.
He is survived by his children, daughters, Roseann Cardello, of Hawley, MA and Victoria Butler of North Smithfield; and his sons, Joseph III of North Smithfield, Michael of Oakland, and Anthony Cardello of North Smithfield. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter and a brother Peter Cardello.
He was preceded in death by his brother Salvatore Cardello.
His funeral will be held Friday at 9am from the Keene-Brown Funeral Home 445 Greenville Rd. North Smithfield with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Johns Church in Slatersville. Burial will follow in St. Johns Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 5pm until 8pm. In lieu of flowers donations in Josephs memory may be sent to the St. Antoine Residence Activity Fund 10 Rhodes Ave. North Smithfield RI 02896.
