GLASTONBURY, CT- Christiane Yvonne (LePollozec) Goguen, 86, wife of the late Robert Goguen, of Glastonbury and formerly Franklin, MA, died Monday, January 23, 2012, in New Britain.
Born in Rennes, France the daughter of the late Alexis and Melanie (LePeuc'h) LePollozec, she made her home in Franklin, MA for 56 years, moving to Glastonbury in 2003.
Christiane worked for Corning Medical as a Quality Assurance Specialist for over 20 years, retiring in 1987. She enjoyed making crafts for local charities and was a passionate gardener. While living in Glastonbury she was an active member of the senior center.
She is survived by her daughter Janet Jewett of Glastonbury; three grandchildren Michael, Jason and Marc Goguen; and four great grandchildren. Besides her husband of 55 years, she was predeceased by her son Robert Goguen, her brother Alexi LePollozec and sister Huegette LePollozec. The funeral will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Molloy Funeral Home, 906 Farmington Ave., West Hartford. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Glastonbury.
