BLACKSTONE- Barbara P. (Gelinas) Youngsma, 70, of Blackstone, MA. and formerly of Woonsocket, RI died late Wednesday evening at the Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness. She was the widow of the late Louis S. Youngsma who died in 2008.
She was born in Woonsocket, RI, the daughter of the late William and the late Doris (Lavallee) Gelinas and resided in Blackstone (34) years previously living in Woonsocket.
Mrs. Youngsma is survived by (1) Son, Brian J. Youngsma of Blackstone, MA.; (1) Stepson, Mark Youngsma of Cypress, CA.; (1) Stepdaughter, Kathy Simone of Bellingham, MA.; (1) Sister, Vicky Gelinas of Blackstone; (1) Brother, Clark Gelinas of Woonsocket.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation will follow and a private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no funeral home visiting hours.
