WOONSOCKET- Alma G. Gauvin 97, formerly of Mendon Rd., Woonsocket died Monday January 23rd at Bradford Ct. in Pascoag. She was the wife of the late Leo E. Gauvin.
Born in Mapleville, she was a daughter of the late Zenon and Virginie (Beaudoin) Ducharme.
Mrs. Gauvin was a spinner for several area worsted companies for over twenty years before retiring in 1970.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Alfred, Homer, Peter, J. Roderick, and Noe Louis Ducharme, Delia Plante, Lillian Letondress, and Celina Dora Robitaille.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket with a service in the funeral home beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Pascoag. Please visit
