WOONSOCKET- Florence Francoeur 79, of 300 Privilege St. died Sunday at Landmark Medical Center.
Born in Walpole, MA, she was a daughter of the late Adelard and Florida (Godin) Garneau.
Mrs. Francoeur worked for several area manufacturing companies including the former Colby Glass and Rosecraft for many years before retiring over ten years ago. Florence was very active at Waterview Apartments and served as the Sunshine Lady for many years, she also loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by a son Michael Garneau and his wife Kim of Woonsocket and a daughter Robin Hemond and her husbnd Ernest of Cumberland, four grandchildren, Michael and Keith Garneau, Melissa Giramma, and Jeffrey Hemond, and three great-grandchildren Ava, Wilson and Noah. She was also the sister of the late Theresa R. Choiniere, George, Victor, Louis, and Treffle "John" Garneau.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 8:30 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in All Saints Church Rathbun St. Woonsocket.
