BURRILLVILLE- Warren "Bud" F. Patterson Sr., 98, of Pascoag, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012 at home. He was the husband of the late Emma D. (Angell) Patterson.
Born in Bridgeton he was the son of the late Francis and Genella (Knight) Patterson.
Warren "Bud" worked in textile his whole life. He worked in the Uxbridge Worcester Mill of Pascoag for 24 years, the Worcester Textile Mill and retired as an Overseer from the Stevens Linen Mill of Webster. He was a member of the Rambler Club and the Burrillville Historic and Preservation Society. He was a founding member of the Wallum Lake Rod & Gun Club, and was the oldest living member of Pascoag Fire Dept. Hose #2.
He is survived by two sons, Warren F. Patterson Jr. and his wife Cynthia and Gary Patterson, all of Pascoag, two grandchildren, Norman and Brian, and three great grandchildren, Alexander, Kyle and Kendra. He was the brother of the late Alan and Brandon Patterson, Ivy Sayles and Louise Sanford.
His funeral service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012 at 1 PM in the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave. Pascoag. Burial will follow in Pascoag Cemetery, Burrillville. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5 to 8 PM.
