William L. Koury

FRAMINGHAM- William L. Koury, age 82, a longtime resident of Framingham, died Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Oak Knoll Healthcare Center in Framingham.
Born in Woonsocket, RI, he was the son of the late Albert and Jamela (Joseph) Koury.
He was the husband of the late Joan C. (Albiniano) Koury who died in 2000.
Mr. Koury worked for many years as a computer programmer.
He served in the US Navy during the Korean War aboard the USS Gearing.
Mr. Koury is survived by his three sons Michael Koury and his wife Tina of Mansfield, David Koury and his wife Susan of Bolton, Richard Koury and his wife Claudia of Brooklyn, NY, his daughter-in-law Jennifer Koury of Alabama, and 6 loving grandchildren Douglas, Samantha, Danielle, Jocelyn, Melissa and William. He is also survived by his sister Lillian Salome of RI and many nieces and nephews.
He was the father of the late William J. Koury who died in December 2011.
Relatives & friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Saturday February 4 from 1:30 PM to 4:30PM at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech Street (corner of Union Ave), Framingham.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
