PROVIDENCE- Gertrude Halpern died Saturday, February 4, 2012 in Providence. She would have been 100 years old on March 8, 2012.
She is survived by her nephews, Stanley and Jason Goldstein and Robert Halpern, nieces, Marjorie Bean and Beverly Goldberg, great-nephews, Gene, Larry and Mark Goldstein, great-niece, Nancy Dunn and her devoted caregiver, Peggy Comforti.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 6, 2012 at 11AM in B'nai Israel Cemetery, Mendon Rd., Woonsocket under the direction of the Chevra Kadisha and the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket.
