PALM COAST, FLORIDA- Walter S. Eastman, age 101, formerly of Franklin, MA and Lincoln, RI, passed away February 2, in Palm Coast, Florida. He was the husband of the late Theodora DeAmicis Eastman and the late Aleta Cornelius Eastman.
Born in Temple, NH, he was the son of the late Rev. Harvey M. and Mary Eastman of Slatersville.
He was a graduate of the Mt. Hermon School, Northfield, MA. He worked in various textile mills, ending his career as president of Stamina mills in Forestdale. He was a past president of the Franklin, MA Rotary and a founding member of the Kirkbrae Country Club in Lincoln.
He is survived by daughters, Judy Azar of Warwick, Donna Pudick of Palm Coast and Beth Doherty of Brooklyn, CT, step children, James Malm of East Greenwich, Lee Smith of Fleming Island, FL, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on February 18 in Palm Coast. Coastal Cremation is in charge.
