David B. Dungan

HARRISVILLE- David B. Dungan, 71, of Harrisville, RI passed away on Monday, February 6, 2012 at Roger Williams Hospital with family by his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Sharon E. (Hansen) Dungan.
Born in Detroit, MI on April 28, 1940, he was the son of the late Talma J. Dungan.
He was the loving father of David Scott Dungan and his wife Magealena of Warren, MI, Stephan J. Dungan and his wife Gwen of Washington, MI, Shawnne M. Biron and her husband Normand of Barre, MA, Shannon P. Mallon and her husband Pat of Royal Oak, MI and his cherished 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
A resident of Harrisville, RI since 1985, he was formerly of Royal Oak, MI. He worked as a certified life underwriter for Prudential Insurance for 20 years. He was a United States Army Veteran. Devoted to his family, he will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Friday, February 10th with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at All Saints Church, Rathbun Street, Woonsocket, RI. Interment will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham, MA. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Amos House, 401 Friendship St. P.O. Box 72873, Providence, RI 02907 and would be appreciated.
