KING JACE REVEALED

February 11, 2012

Former City Councilman William D. Schneck Jr. — King Jace — sits with his court: Mardi Gras Queen Jackie Boudreau, center, and princesses, Emily Forte, left, and Ainsley Morisseau, after being unveiled at the CYO Center Mardi Gras bash Saturday night. Schneck said it was "a lot of fun" to have played the local ruse since November, but also admitted wearing his costume was quite a challenge. As for the clues, Schneck told his audience he had once sold fish, albeit as a young salesman for Mrs. Paul's fish sticks, and liked to "swing" a golf club. And for all those button guessers, yes, he did work for Autumnfest selling buttons.
