BURRILLVILLE- Francis J. Minutelli 90, resident of Pascoag, passed away February 12, 2012 at Landmark Medical Center.
He was the loving husband to Mona (St. Pierre) Minutelli.
He was born on September 28, 1921 in Harrisville a son of the late Francis & Mary (Ramieglio) Minutelli.
Francis was the former Director of Public Works and Civil Defense Director for the town of Burrillville; previously he was a self employed contractor. He was a lifelong Burrillville resident who served in the Army Air Corp during WWII stationed in the South Pacific. He was a member of the Burrillville Lions Club, Post 1023, and a former member of the Democratic Committee.
Besides his wife Mona, Francis is survived by his step children Jon Hill and his wife Nicole of Harrisville and Peter Hill and his wife Mary of Cumberland. He was the cherished grandfather to Michael and Katherine Hill, Zachary and Taylor Warf. He is also survived by sisters, Margaret Riley, Loretta Leduc, Lorraine Bois, Elizabeth Minutelli and Theresa Ferguson all of Burrillville.
His funeral will be Thursday at 9:30am from the Brown Funeral Home 1496 Victory Hwy. Oakland with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am in St. Josephs Church in Pascoag. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Patricks Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4pm until 7pm. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the St. Josephs Church Food Pantry 183 Sayles Ave. Pascoag RI 02859.
