WOONSOCKET- Louis R. Geer, Sr., 61, resident of Woonsocket, formerly of the state California, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2012, at the Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket.
Born July 24, 1950 in Uxbridge, MA, he was the son of the late Ralph and Patricia (Wheeler) Geer.
Louis had worked for the New England Dry Wall Company as a carpenter and in his spare time, he was a passionate fisherman.
He is survived by two daughters, Tammy Harris of Woonsocket and Lori Amato of Mapleville; one son Louis R. Geer, Jr. of Woonsocket; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Louis was also the former husband of Kathryn Geer.
Calling hours will be held Thursday from 6-8PM at the Keene-Brown Funeral Home 445 Greenville Road, North Smithfield. Funeral services will be held privately.
