HUDSON, FL- Loretta (Lori) Champeau, 70, of Hudson, FL, formerly of Mapleville, RI died January 30, 2012 at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, Hudson, FL.
She was the beloved wife of Lionel Champeau for the past 53 years.
Born in Woonsocket, the daughter of the late Pearl and Frederick Archambault.
Loretta worked at General Motors in Framingham, MA for many years, retiring in 1991 when the plant closed.
Besides her husband, she is survived by 4 daughters, Susan Champeau of Webster, MA; Kathy Brand of Nasonville, RI and her husband Kevin; Paula Lapierre of Moody, AL and her husband Normand; and Jodie Ruano of Waldoboro, ME and her husband Luis; 6 grandchildren, Scott, Keith, Kyle, Daniel, Gabrielle and Gage. She is also survived by one sister Pearl Theroux of Woonsocket, RI. Predeceased by her son Scott Champeau, sisters Donna Blanchette and Lorraine Ryan and her brother Frederick Archambault.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Thursday March 1, 2012 at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Good Help Church, 1063 Victory Highway, Mapleville, RI.
