WOONSOCKET- Madeleine B. (Crepeau) Cardin, 91, 100 Front Street, Woonsocket, passed away February 27 at home, after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Jules J. Cardin, Sr. married for 64 years.
Born Feb 24, 1921 in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Adgenard Crepeau and Marie Anne (Julien) Crepeau.
Madeleine leaves seven daughters and one son; Paulette Rhodes, Florida; Anne Marie Cardin, Swansea, Ma; Francine Porreca, Georgia; Jules J. Cardin, Jr., Onset, MA; Denise Johnson, Cranston; Monette Hinger, East Greenwich; Rachel Cardin, New York; Madeleine Poirier, Woonsocket, and one brother, Paul Crepeau, Florida, and 20 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Suzanne Beran, California, sister of the late Rosaire Crepeau and Bernard Crepeau.
She was a communicant of Precious Blood Church, a former member of the Providence Camera Club. Her interests included photography and travel.
A memorial service will be held at Precious Blood Church, Woonsocket at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2012. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers Memorial Mass donations to Precious Blood Church would be appreciated.
