MANVILLE- Dorothea Louise (Thomas) St. Onge, 98, of Manville, died Saturday, March 3, 2012 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Wilfred L. St. Onge, whom she married August 4, 1937.
Born in East Blackstone, MA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond E. and Bertha M. (Fernald) Thomas.
She was head cashier for the former Woonsocket Hospital, Woonsocket for 41 years, retiring in 1980. She was a member and Treasurer of the North Smithfield Volunteer Fire Dept. Auxiliary and a member of the Quarter Century Club of Woonsocket Hospital, the RI Pilots Association and the North Smithfield Senior Citizens.
She leaves a brother, David F. Thomas of Medway, MA and many nephews and nieces.
Her funeral, beginning with visitation at 9 AM will be held Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 10 AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main Street, Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Slatersville Cemetery, Slatersville.
