BLACKSTONE- Maureen C. (Sayer) Smith, 75, of Blackstone, MA passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Milford Regional Medical Center with her loving husband by her side. She was the beloved wife of Kenneth J. Smith.
Born in London, England on August 19, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Clara (Wheaton) Sayer.
She was the loving mother of Lee E. Smith of Blackstone, MA, Shelley A. Smith of Whitinsville, MA and the late Michael A. Smith; and leaves her five cherished grandchildren, Angela and Olivia Glorioso, Ashley, Brooke and Arianna Smith. She also leaves her brother Steve Sayer of London, England.
She was a resident of Blackstone for 42 years and formerly of London, England. She was a member of the British Motor Cars of New England, and enjoyed knitting and playing bingo. Devoted to her family, she will be greatly missed.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 12th at 7:00PM at CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA. Visiting hours are from 5 to 7PM prior to service. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
