BLACKSTONE- Cecil H. Lane, Jr., 73, of Blackstone, MA, passed away suddenly on Friday, March 9, 2012 at the Blackstone Nursing Home in Blackstone, MA.
He was born January 22, 1939, son of the late Cecil H. and Rose Martha (Clark) Lane Sr.
Cecil was a lifelong resident of Blackstone. He had worked for Nightingale Metals Inc. in Lincoln, RI as a maintenance worker. He was a past Master of the Blackstone River Masonic Lodge, as well as a past member for the Solomons Temple Lodge in Uxbridge and Montgomery Lodge in Milford. Cecil was also a member of The United Presbyterian Church at Whitinsville in Whitinsville, MA.
He is survived by his sister Rosemary Jolicoeur and her companion William D-Innocenzo of Franklin, MA; 2 nieces Lisa Landry and her husband Ken of Chester, VA and Rebecca Bouley and her husband Michael of Blackstone, MA; 1 nephew Joe Jolicoeur and his wife Kelly of Uxbridge, MA. Cecil is also survived by 10 grandnieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Wednesday, March 14 at 10AM from the Egidio DiPardo & Sons Funeral Home 75 Harris Avenue, Woonsocket, RI, with a service at 11AM in The United Presbyterian Church at Whitinsville, in Whitinsville, MA. Burial to be held privately in Blackstone Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, March 13 from 6PM-8PM.
