WOONSOCKET- Florida Brodeur 95, formerly of Mt. St. Charles Ave. in Woonsocket died Monday at Wingate in Kingston, MA. She was the wife of the late Arthur Brodeur.
Mrs. Brodeur was born in Lowell, MA, a daughter of the late Albert and Genevieve (Rainville) Bernier.
She worked for the former Uni-Royal Co. for twenty years and Miller Electric Co. for a year before retiring n 1978. She was a former member of the Mt. St. Charles Mothers Club, St. Agatha's Sr. Citizens, and Les Canado Americain.
Mrs. Brodeur is survived by her son Arthur A. Brodeur of TN, a sister Alice Fontaine of Seekonk, two grandchildren and three great grandchild. She was also the sister of the late Albert, Raymond and Florence Bernier, Cecile Belanger, Sr. Rita Bernier PM and Therese Ouellette.
Her funeral with visitation will be held Friday at 8:30 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Agatha's Church, Joffre Ave. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery in Manville. please visit
