WOONSOCKET- Theresa L. (Manigan) Peloquin, 85, of Edmund St., died Tuesday, March 13, 2012 in St. Antoine Residence, No. Smithfield. She was the wife of Roger J. Peloquin, Sr., whom she married April 10, 1948.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late James and Mathilda (Gallant) Manigan, Sr.
Mrs. Peloquin worked as an Inspector for AT Cross, Lincoln and had also worked for Polytop Corp., No. Smithfield. She was a member of the St. Joseph's Choir and loved to travel and dance.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Roger Peloquin, Jr. and his fiance Darlene of Pawtucket and Mark Peloquin and his wife Mary of No. Smithfield, one daughter, Donna Lussier and her husband Andrew of Woonsocket, six grandchildren, Christian, Scott, Steven and Stacey Peloquin, Bethany Quadros and Erika Lussier and one great-granddaughter, Juliana Quadros. She was the sister of the late Thomas, James and Henry Manigan, Ellen Losado, Mary Cousins, Margaret Fontaine, Catherine Manigan, Madonna Thrift and Frances Lambert.
Her funeral will be held Monday, March 19, 2012, beginning with visitation at 9AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 1200 Mendon Rd., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Farm St., Blackstone, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tides Family Services, 215 Washington St., West Warwick, RI 02893.
