WOONSOCKET- Robert P. Biagetti, 56, passed away Monday, March, 19 at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket.
Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Alvaro and Lauretta (Sylvestre) Biagetti. He resided in Woonsocket for most of his life, previously residing in Lincoln.
Mr. Biagetti was employed as an Machinist for the Senior Aerospace Metal Bellows of Sharon, MA for 35 years.
Mr. Biagetti was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, but most of all loved fishing.
He leaves his brother, Raymond Biagetti of Woonsocket, as well as his sister, Mary Ann Cherkas of North Smithfield, and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves his step-daughter Wanda Loynds of New Hampshire. He was the brother of the late Richard V. Biagetti.
A celebration of his life will be held Thursday at 9 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in the Precious Blood Church, Carrington Avenue, Woonsocket. Burial will follow in the St. Charles Cemetery, Blackstone.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting Hours will be held Wednesday from 5 to 8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Rhode Island Food Bank or to the Visiting Nurse Home Care.
