NORTH SMITHFIELD- Shirley M. Laczynski, 82, of North Smithfield, RI died March 19, 2012 at her home. She was the wife of the late Joseph Laczynski who died in 1990.
Born in Uxbridge, MA she was the daughter of the late Edwin Frisk and Dagmar A. (Sederback) LeClerc.
Mrs. Laczynski worked as a Payroll Supervisor for the former UniRoyal Rubber Company, Woonsocket, RI and after that she was a Payroll Supervisor for CVS in Woonsocket, RI. She bred and showed Morgan Horses in many horse shows in Rhode Island and other states. She was an avid reader, loved animals, dining out, and vacationing in Maine.
She is survived by one brother: Roger LeClerc and his wife Charliene of Norton, MA and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Laczynskis funeral will be held Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 11:30 in the James E. Kellett and Son Funeral Home, 38 Main St., Blackstone, MA. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Uxbridge, MA. Calling hour is Saturday from 10:30-11:30 am.
