CHEPACHET- Claire L. (Levesque) Lawrence, "Nana" 68, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012, in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of Donald Lawrence Sr. of Chepachet, whom she married Mar. 27, 1963.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Yvon Bob and Evelyn (Searles) Levesque.
Claire was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed volunteer work at the Christian Community School in Pascoag. She also enjoyed traveling and cheering on her grandson at BMX racing. She loved to entertain and spend time with family and friends.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Donald J. Lawrence Jr. and Robert W. Lawrence, both of Chepachet and Richard F. Lawrence of Greenville, two brothers, Robert Levesque of Nasonville and Bill Levesque of North Providence and two grandchildren, Donald J. III and Kacie. She was the sister of the late Joan Gaulin.
Her calling hours will be held Saturday, March 24, 2012 from 3 to 7 PM with a Service starting at 6:30 PM in the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave. Pascoag. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Christian Community School 113 Church St. Pascoag, RI 02859.
