BLACKSTONE- Lillian M. (Delong) Laquerre, 89, of Blackstone, MA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at the Beaumont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Northbridge, MA with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond J. Laquerre.
Born in Spring Valley, WI on May 31, 1922, she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret (Schroder) DeLong. She was the loving mother of the late Judy R. LeBlanc and her late husband Richard J. LeBlanc. She leaves her cherished grandchildren, Dawn Mikulski and her husband, John of Millbury, MA, Robin M. LeBlanc of Millbury, MA, Kim Blanchette and her husband, Wayne of Blackstone, MA and Paula Follett and her husband, Bruce of Johnston, RI; and her six great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Charles, Clarence "Sam", and Carl "Bud" DeLong, Mabel Anderson, Theresa Manor, Virginia Hofacker, Ruby Monnet, and Emma McClellan.
A resident of Blackstone for over 60 years and formerly of Elmwood, WI, she worked at U.S. Rubber and ACS Industries for many years until retiring in 1986. She was a communicant of St. Theresa Church. She enjoyed traveling, and was devoted to her family and will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Monday, March 26th at 9:00AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at St. Theresa Church, 630 Rathbun St., Blackstone, MA. Interment will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery. Visiting hours are on Sunday, March 25th from 4 to 7PM at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. To sign guest book visit
