NORTH SMITHFIELD- Anne A. (Kozaczka) Mandeville, 90, of School Street, died Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield. She was the beloved wife of the late Rowell L. Mandeville. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Tomasz and Rosalia (Mikula) Kozaczka.
She worked at North Smithfield Town Hall for twenty years, serving as Town Clerk for twelve years, before retiring in 1982. She was also a member of the North Smithfield Fire and Rescue Association. She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church, North Smithfield and had also been a member of its building committee.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas R. Mandeville and his wife R. Elaine of Forestdale and Richard J. Mandeville and his wife Anne M. of Greenville, a sister, Michaelina Freitas and a sister in law, Jenny Kozaczka, both of North Smithfield. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Peter J., Seth A., Matthew R. and Jessica A. Mandeville and three great grandchildren, Christian, Olivia and Lia. She was the sister of the late Joseph Kozaczka, Valentina Demusz, Emily Sak, Mary Babalevich, Sonia D'Andrea and Frances Jackson and grandmother of the late Marc T. Mandeville.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, March 31, 2012 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, Church Street, North Smithfield. Inurnment will follow in the parish cemetery. Calling hours are Friday from 4PM until 7 PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main Street, Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Marc Mandeville Foundation, c/o Peter Mandeville, 21 Alvil Road, Wilmington, DE 19805.
