Armand L. Plouffe

WOONSOCKET- Armand L. Plouffe 89, formerly of Earle St., passed away Tuesday, April 10, in the Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Theresa (Dulac) Plouffe. Together they would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in May of this year.
He was born in Woonsocket , a son of the late Xavier and Albertine (Gaudette) Plouffe.
Mr. Plouffe was a cost accountant for Whitinsville Machine Works for over thirty five years retiring in 1984, and was a WWII Army veteran.
He was an avid cribbage player, and a member of the ST. Joseph's SR. Citizens, Club Lafayette, and the Royal Travelers.
He enjoyed family dinners, watching the Patriots with his family, and watching the videos of his many trips.
He was loved and respected by all who knew him, and his kind and joyful spirit will be missed by everyone.
Besides his wife he is survived by his daughter Estelle Geer and her husband Bill, and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral with Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday in All Saints Church, Rathbun St, Woonsocket at 10:00AM. The family will receive guests at 9:30 in the rear of the church. Burial will follow in Precious Blood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Disabled American Veterans Memorial Program, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
