UXBRIDGE/CHEPACHET- Marion M. (Bousquet) Jacques, 88, of Chapachet, RI formerly of E. Hartford Ave. died Sat. April 21, after an illness at Overlook Nursing & Rehab Center.
She is survived b 2 sons Alfred J. and his wife (Susan) Jacques of Syracuse, NY, Randy M. and his wife Dawn Jacques of Uxbridge; a daughter Joy M. Lazo and her partner Jean Wiberg of Chepachet, RI; 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, several nephews and nieces; and a sister Rose Lambert of Sanford, NC. She is predeceased by her husband Lucien J. Jacques who died on March 18, 1989. Three brothers, and 4 sisters also predeceased her.
Born in Northbridge on Feb. 12, 1924 she was daughter of Homidas and Florida (Blanchette) Bousquet and lived the past 30 years in Uxbridge.
Marion was a long time member of Good Shepherd Church. She was a good woman, who always found a kind and positive word to say about everyone. She was loved dearly by family and all that knew her. She enjoyed following politics, reading, and had a wonderful sense of humor. She was a loyal friend and sister.
Her funeral service will be private and held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Marion's memory to Overlook Nursing & Rehab. Center Activities Fund, 14 Rock Ave. PO Box 152, Pascoag, RI 02859.
