PAWTUCKET- Jeannette Savard, 101, of Woonsocket and formerly of Pawtucket, entered into eternal peace, Wednesday, April 25, 2012. She was the wife of the late Amedee Savard.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Nellie (LaFontaine) St. Jean.
Mrs. Savard lived most of her life in Pawtucket before moving to Woonsocket in 1999. She was a woman of great faith, a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt to her many nieces and nephews and friend, she will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Morin and her husband Paul of Woonsocket, two grandchildren, Edward Burda Jr. of Woonsocket and Elizabeth Burda of Wakefield. She was the sister of the late Charles St. Jean, Nellie Holland, Blanche Dubois, Antoinette Caron, Bertha Thibault, and Mae Lescault.
The funeral will be held Monday at 9:30AM from the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM in Our Lady of Consolation Church, Sabin Street, Pawtucket. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Sunday, 2-4PM in the funeral home. www.rifuneral.com
