BELLINGHAM- Alan K. Remillard, 52, of Bellingham, MA passed away on Friday, April 27, 2012 at Tufts Medical Center, Boston, MA with his family and fiancee by his side after being stricken at home earlier in the week. He was the beloved fianc of Nancy Beschi and they were to be married on July 13, 2013.
Born on December 30, 1959, he was the son of the late Leo R. and Viola R. "Dolly" (Lajoie) Remillard.
He was the loving father of Adam Remillard of San Diego, CA, Brett Remillard and Greg Remillard both of Bellingham, MA. He was the brother of the late Donna L. Moreau and leaves his brother-in-law, Stephen A. Moreau and his daughter Natalia Moreau, and his nephew, Nicholas Siravo all of Bellingham.
A lifelong resident of Bellingham, Alan attended Bellingham Schools graduating from Bellingham High School Class of 1977 and continued his education at Bryant College receiving his MBA. He was the owner and operator of Vets Package Store in Bellingham, which is a family owned business. He was an avid Boston sports fan and was active in cycling and rode in the Pan-Mass Challenge. Alan was a very hard worker, he loved his family and will be greatly missed by all.
Funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 1st at 8:00AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00AM at St. Blaise Church, 1158 So. Main St., Bellingham. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland, RI. Visiting hours are on Monday, April 30th from 5 to 8PM at the funeral home.
