Elizabeth Karakeian

BELLINGHAM- Elizabeth (Bedirian) Karakeian, 89, of Bellingham, died May, 4, 2012 in the Metro West Medical Center in Framingham. She was the wife of the late Nishian Karakeian who died in 2003. She was born in Boston daughter of the late Harry and Parinaz (Ouzounian) Bedirian and moved to Bellingham in 1949. She was a graduate of the Franklin High School class of 1940.
Mrs. Karakeian retired in 1986 from the Mass Mailing Service in Holliston where she was employed as a secretary.
She was an avid Boston sports fan and trips to the casinos. She loved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and loved gardening.
She is survived by four sons David and his wife June (Calabello) Karakeian of Bellingham, Mark Karakeian of Milford, Ronald Karakeian of Bellingham, Anthony and his wife Jill (Ridolfi) Karakeian of Bellingham, two daughters Vivian and husband Paul Marcell of Millbury, Jeanne and her husband Samuel Maxwell of Bellingham, three sisters Sirpouhi Andonian of Whitinsville, Lucy Semerjian and Sona Bedirian both of Franklin, twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday May 8, 2012 from 4 to 8 P.M. in the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. Milford MA.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
