WOONSOCKET- George J. Michaud 63, of Cumberland Hill Rd. died Thursday May 3, 2012, in Mariam Hospital after a long illness. He was the former husband of Margaret (Charest) Beaudoin of Woonsocket.
Born in Woonsocket, son of the late Gerald and Lena (Marzini). He was a lifelong resident of Woonsocket.
He is survived by two daughters Leda and Stacy Michaud, both of Woonsocket, one Stepdaughter Stephanie Beaudoin, also of Woonsocket. Three brothers, Gerard Michaud of North Smithfield, R.I. Dennis Michaud of Warwick, R.I. Richard Michaud of Woonsocket, and four sisters, Kathleen Paul of Manville, R.I., Geraldine Michaud of Manville, R.I., Patricia Dodd, of Lincoln, R.I., and Sheila Michaud, of Maine. Six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He also was the brother of the late Glenn Michaud.
A Funeral Home Service will be held on Thursday Evening May 10, 2012 in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket. Relatives and friends are invited: Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5-7 P.M. Burial will be private.
