WOONSOCKET- Alice E. (Donais) Ventry, 82, of Dana St., formerly of the Meadows, in North Smithfield, died Monday May 14, 2012, at home with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late George Ventry.
Born in Providence, daughter of the late Albert and Irene (Trudel) Donais.
Alice worked as an assembler for CD Burns for several years prior to retiring.
She is survived by one son Charles G. and wife Alice Ventry of Harrisville. Two daughters, Carol and husband Roger Nault of Narragansett, R.I., Deborah Grenier and companion C.J. Robichaud, of Woonsocket. Two sisters, Rita Burke of North Carolina, and Theresa Lizotte, of Webster, MA. One brother, Paul Donais of Missouri. Seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was also predeceased by her son Allan, her brother Ernest Donais and one great-grandson.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday at 10 A.M. in Holy Family Church, South Main St. Woonsocket, Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Blackstone, MA. Relatives and friends are invited. The S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, R.I. is in charge of the arrangements.
