CUMBERLAND- Fagnant, Jean Paul, 76, of Cumberland died Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Hospice St. Antoine, North Smithfield. He was the husband of Pauline (Pelletier) Fagnant.
Born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Hermile and Blanche (Fugere) Fagnant. He lived most of his life in Cumberland. Mr. Fagnant had been employed for many years as an industrial diamond Dye Cutter at General Cable before retiring in 1999. He was an avid NASCAR fan and will be missed by so many friends.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a sister, Lucille Barbosa and her husband Daniel, a brother, Bernard Fagnant and his wife Theresa, numerous nieces and nephews and several grand nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held Thursday at 10am from the O'Neill Funeral Home, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am in All Saints Church, 323 Rathbun Street, Woonsocket. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours, Wednesday 4-8pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society, Hospice St. Antoine, or All Saints Church Food Pantry. www.rifuneral.com
