NEW 'GENERAL' IN TOWN

Roger Lapierre, left, president of Li'l General Stores, welcomes Noor Memon, Roshan Baral and Ruksana Surti, from left, as owners of the new Li'l General Store, located at 259 Front St. in Lincoln during a Grand Opening celebration Thursday. Memon and Surti are co-owners of the building and Baral is leasing the store franchise. The hours of
operation are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. The store offers fresh fruit and produce, a full deli, a full line of groceries as well as convenient fresh coffee. Customers are invited to attend a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony at the store on Thursday, June 7 at 10 a.m. Specials will be available for 10 days following the ribbon-cutting.
