WOONSOCKET- Dorothy V. Girard 48, of Rathbun St. died Sunday, May 27, 2012 at home.
Born in Woonsocket she was a daughter of Nancy (Alward) Girard and the late Aldor Girard.
Dorothy was a school bus driver for the Durham and Valley Transportation Companies .
Besides her mother she leaves a fianc Alphee Belanger, a daughter Erin Girard, eight siblings, Gregory, Barry, Crystal, Candy, and Brian Girard, Roxanne Raiche, and Shelly Heldenberg all of Woonsocket, a brother Jodie Girard of CA, a step-mother Jerryane Girard, step-son Ricky Belanger, and step-daughter Nancy Belanger all of Woonsocket, five grandchildren and 11 nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be held Wednesday 5-7 PM at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, with a service at 7:00 PM. Please visit
