William L. Marcil

BELLINGHAM- William L. Marcil, 54, of Bellingham passed away at home on Friday, June 1, 2012. He was the husband of Robin A. (Healey) Marcil.
Born in Woonsocket on December 16, 1957, he was the son of the late Lionel and Catherine (Mulcahy) Marcil.
He was the father of Kellen W. Marcil of Bellingham and Kayla A. Marcil of Woonsocket. He was the brother of Tom Marcil and his wife, Connie of Woonsocket, Elaine Garneau and her husband, Richard, Darlene Caron and her husband, Norman all of Lincoln, and the late Kathleen Lawrence and her late husband Henry. He also leaves several nieces and nephews with whom he was very close to.
He was a resident of Bellingham for over 10 years and formerly of Woonsocket. Bill has worked for the Bellingham DPW since 2000 where he was the Assistant Facilities Operator who ran the Hartford Ave. Filtration Plant. He previously worked as a Water Treatment Operator for the City of Woonsocket for over 17 years. He was a member of the Cercle Laurier of Woonsocket. He was a devoted NE Patriots fan and enjoyed live music. Devoted to his family, he will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Tuesday, June 5th at 9:00AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at Sacred Heart Church, 415 Olo St., Woonsocket. Interment will follow at the Scott Cemetery, Center St., Bellingham.
Visiting hours are on Monday, June 4th from 5 to 8PM at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
