BURRILLVILLE- Roland J. Rouleau, 89, died Thursday May 31, 2012 at home in Harrisville. He was the husband of Elaine M. (Fisher) Rouleau whom he married May 3, 1947.
Born in Woonsocket he was the son of the late Albert and Donalda (Giguere) Rouleau.
Roland worked at Zambarano Hospital for many years before retiring. He was a WWII Army veteran who served in India, Burma and China.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son, Robert Rouleau of Barrington, two daughters, Susan Vezina of Harrisville and Sandra Rouleau of Pompano Beach, FL, two grandchildren, two step grandchildren, one great grandchild and one step great grandchild. He also was one of nine siblings.
His funeral will be held Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at 9:30AM from the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave. Pascoag, with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30AM in St. Joseph's Church, 183 Sayles Ave. Pascoag. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Burrillville. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 7PM in the Funeral Home.
