WOONSOCKET- Dhimitri Butsika 87, formerly of Plaza Village died Thursday at Woonsocket Health Care Center. He was the husband of the late Theresa Butsika. Born in Thompson, CT he was a son of the late Sotir and Pauline (Papaleka)Butsika. Dhimitri was an artist and owned an art supply store where he also gave art lessons.
He leaves a daughter Pauline Butsika of Cranston, and life long friend Mable Warszawski of Woonsocket. He was also the brother of the late George Butsika, and Katherine Charlette.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday 10-11 AM in the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., Woonsocket. Followed by burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Please visit www.fournierandfournier.com for guestbook and directions.
