LINCOLN- Anita M. Leduc, 97, passed away on June 3, 2012 at The Holiday Retirement Home in Lincoln, RI.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Anide (Franceschi) Lomi.
She was the loving and caring wife to the late Bertrand Leduc.
She worked in area textiles all her life. She loved to play BINGO and enjoyed hooking rugs. Before residing at The Holiday, Anita was also a resident at the Waterview Apartments on Privilege Street in Woonsocket.
Anita is survived by her daughter Sylvia Pontbriand of Rockledge, FL; son Richard Leduc and his wife Patricia of Woonsocket, RI; granddaughters Diane Goddard and Denise Perron, both of Woonsocket; 4 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother Alveraldo Lomi.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 9AM from the Egidio DiPardo and Sons Funeral Home 75 Harris Avenue, Woonsocket, with a 10AM Mass of Christian Burial at All Saints Church in Woonsocket. Burial to follow at St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham, MA. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-7PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anitas memory to The Holiday Retirement Home Activities Fund 30 Sayles Hill Road, Manville, RI 02838.
