WOONSOCKET- Joseph Normand Baril 87, of 100 Front St., died Monday at Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late Ernest and Florence (Morel) Baril.
Joseph was a clerk for Woonsocket Motor Inn for over ten years, he also worked as a custodian at the former Ames Department Store for five years.
He is survived by two brothers Roger Y. Baril of Medway, MA, and Andre M. Baril of Millville, MA, four sisters, Jacqueline Savaria, Madeleine Jarret, Pauline Rainone, and Juliette Hudon all of Woonsocket, and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Lucien Baril.
His funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, RI with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph's Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket, RI. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Please visit www.fournierandfournier.com for guestbook and directions.
