Panel to look over proposed budget

WOONSOCKET — The state-appointed Budget Commission will give an overview of the city's proposed $122 million budget when the panel convenes Thursday afternoon in historic Harris Hall beginning at 3 p.m.
The City Council held a public hearing on the budget plan during its meeting on Monday but deferred its comment to a work session in Harris Hall Thursday evening.
The Council will vote on its recommendation for a budget on Monday, leaving final action on the budget to Budget Commission possibly on June 29, according to City Finance Director Thomas M. Bruce III.

How come there's no investigation Marcel ? It's because the School Committe voted against it, so they could cover their you know what !

What ever happened with possibly investigating and charging those in the school department that knowingly allowed the funds to be used without thought of a deficit? Then they rported all was well in the department.
