WARWICK- Knight, Gisele V. 85 passed away June 22, 2012. She was the wife of Irving Knight.
Born in Woonsocket she was a daughter of the late George and Arcelia Vanasse.
Gisele (also known as Jean) was beloved by all who knew her. Her grace and elegance caught everyone's attention. She spent her whole life giving to others. As a mother she loved being around her children and grandchildren. There was always a fabulous dinner ready for her friends and family and she always had room for one more. Married in 1996, Gisele and Irving enjoyed years of square dancing, traveling and luncheons at the senior center. Everything in life, to Gisele was simply "wonderful". So today and always we will celebrate the wonderful heart of this women and feel blessed to know she is now standing, healed in the presence of Our Lord.
Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Karen N. Walsh and Pam Stewart, four grandchildren and siblings: George Vanasse and Jacqueline Marcet.
A Memorial Mass was celebrated on Monday at the Scalabrini Villa Nursing Home Chapel, North Kingstown. Burial will be private.
