WOONSOCKET- Ruth E. Pasquerillo, 81, formerly of Village Rd. died peacefully, Saturday June 23, 2012, in Landmark Medical Center, with her loving family by her side.
She was the wife of the late Anthony Pasquerillo.
Born in Burlington, Vermont, daughter of the late Carlo and Grace (Raymond) Florino.
Ruth worked as an assembler for twenty five years for Dennison Inc., before retiring.
Ruth was the organist for St. Blaise Church from 1962- 1973. She was also a former member of the Bellingham Lions Club and enjoyed playing the piano for the Lions Club for all of their various functions.
She was an avid Boxing fan, and Red Sox and Patriot's fan, she didn't miss watching one game to cheer them on, along with her family, Ruth was a loving mother, to all her children, and especially loved spending time with all of them, either at family gatherings or individually.
Ruth enjoyed listening to music and loved to share her talent of playing the piano since the age of four for all to enjoy.
She is survived by two sons, Nicholas and wife Maria Pasquerillo, of Woonsocket, Charles Joseph Pasquerillo, of Woonsocket, two daughters, Lorraine and husband Robert Bayer of Bellingham, Ma. and Lucille Pietrantonio, of Blackstone, Ma. Fifteen grandchildren, eight great -grandchildren, and one great- great-granddaughter.
She was also the mother of the late Anthony P. Pasquerillo Jr., Jenny Rogers, Dianne Gardner, and Anthony Pasquerillo.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 9:30 A.M. from the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 A.M. in St. Joseph's Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket R.I. Burial will be in St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery, Bellingham, MA. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are Wednesday, from 4-8 P.M.
