Lillian M. Andre

NEW BEDFORD- Lillian (Richard) Andre, age 81, of New Bedford and formerly of Cumberland, RI, passed away June 25, 2012 at Saint Luke's Hospital in New Bedford. She was the wife of the late John L. Andre.
Born in Norwalk, CT, a daughter of the late Albert and Sadie (Marcouillier) Richard, she had lived in Cumberland, RI, followed by Florida for several years before moving to New Bedford a few years ago.
Lillian was a member of the VFW and a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Lafayette Club in Woonsocket RI. She enjoyed playing bingo, cooking and working on crafts with her sister Rita.
She is survived by a daughter, Debra L. Andre and her companion Robert of New Bedford; four sons, John Andre Jr., Robert Andre and his companion Marilyn, Thomas Andre and his wife Elena, all of Cumberland, RI and Richard Andre and his wife Debra A., of Fairhaven; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Raymond Richard of California; two sisters, Lena Boisseau of Arizona and Rita Riquier of California, and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late William Richard.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet at 9:50 AM at the Administrative Building in the Rhode Island Veteran's Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter, RI for a 10 AM Committal Service on Saturday, July 14, 2012.
